A total of 15 (H1N1) cases, were reported in Belagavi district.

District health officer Dr Appasab Naratti, told DH on Tuesday, that there was no cause for panic.

As many as 15 patients tested positive for H1N1 in Belagavi, Chikkodi, Raibag and other taluks of Belagavi district.

"They are being treated adequately. People suffering from cold, cough, fever and such symptoms (of Influenza) must get their swab samples tested," he cautioned.

Awareness programmes on measures to prevent infection, were being conducted, the doctor added.
