Two persons were killed and 17 others were injured when a private bus in which they were travelling dashed against a lorry parked on the roadside near here today, police said.
The mishap occurred when the driver of the bus which was proceeding from Mangalore to Bijapur lost control near Kusgal village, police said.
The injured were being treated at KIMS Hospital here, they said adding efforts were on to nab the bus driver who is absconding.
