The deceased are Manje Gowda (45), owner of a travel agency at Domlur, Bangalore, his friends Chandrashekhar (45) and Somashekhar (40) residents of Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore.
They were on their way to Hassan, where Manje Gowda wanted to purchase land. The car was hit by a lorry coming from Hassan moving towards Bangalore and Manje Gowda died on the spot.
Chandrashekhar died at the hospital in Kunigal and Somashekhar succumbed to injuries on way to Bangalore.
CPI Shekhar and staff arrived at the accident spot and removed the injured to the hospital.
