As many as 35,000 people participated in the yoga session that was held to mark International Yoga Day, at the high school grounds, here in Davanagere on Wednesday.
The yoga program was led by Veerashaiva Panchamasali seer Vachanananda Swamiji of Harihar and joined by Guru Mahanta Swamiji of Ilkal.
Deputy commissioner D S Ramesh, MP G M Siddeshwara, MLA S A Ravindranath also participated in the program.
