Hagaribommanahalli (Vijayanagar district), DHNS: Four Greater Flamingos were electrocuted after they came in contact with the high tension wire on Tungabhadra backwaters near Bachigondanahalli in the taluk on Thursday.
Flocks of Greater Flamingos visit the Tungabhadra backwaters, passing through the Kudgi power transmission lines, in search of food.
