According to a complaint, Puttu alias Rehmat and Mushthaq assaulted Izaz and Akther allegedly for not ‘wishing’ them at Ganadabettu in Mangalore Rural police station limits on Tuesday night.
In retaliation, Izaz and Akhter along with their four other accomplices - Ismail, Ajay, Mohammed and Rafeeq assaulted Puttu. While Izaz and Akther admitted to Highland hospital, Puttu was admitted to Wenlock hospital.
However, on Wednesday, Puttu’s accomplices assaulted Izaz’s father Ismail with swords.
Ismail too has been admitted at Wenlock hospital. Two seperate cases have been registered at Mangalore Rural and Pandeshwar police stations.
