Widow pension, Sandhya suraksha yojane, honourarium for handicapped, rashtriya kutumba neravu and other facilities will be given. The district administration has identified beneficiaries from seven taluks. Monthly honorarium have been given to 24,747 beneficiaries till April end. Of which, 4,964 belong to SC category and 1,882 belong to ST category.
Under Sandhya Suraksha yojane, financial assistance is being given to 15,622 beneficiaries. This include 3,607 SCs and 2,081 STs. As many as 12,418 handicapped persons are getting monthly honourarium in the district. This includes 2,694 SCs and 1,758 ST categories. A sum of Rs 38.68 lakh has been distributed among beneficiaries for performing last rites.
