The 7-feet long python had surfaced at the Sai Farm, belonging to Srinivas of Gangavadi village three days ago. A message was passed on to snake catchers Snake Sundar and Snake Mahesh , who arrived at the spot on Monday. They located the python by the side of a water tank in the farm and caught it successfully. It had devoured a rabbit. The forest officials released it into the forest.
