Rajesh was arrested by the police on charges of stealing articles from a house of Gopalashetty in Santhemarahalli. However, Rajesh’s relatives have filed a complaint that the staff of Kuderu Police Station have killed him. Kuderu Police have registered a case and investigation are on.
Suspended
On charges of dereliction of duty, seven police personnel including the police sub-inspector attached to Kuderu Police Station, were placed under suspension, pending inquiry.
In a press release here, Superintendent of Police B S Prakash said the suspended police personnel are PSI Nagaram, head constable Nagendra Rao, Nanjappa, Constables Vinaykumar, Prakash, Pradeep, Kumar and others. The incident would be recommended for the inquiry by CID.
