He was addressing the reserved troop police and forest department employees during his formal visit to Makutta’s border region. Anvekar, who looks after Kodagu, Udupi, Mangalore, Hassan, Mysore and Chamrajnagar districts assured the forest staff and police of demanding the government to provide basic amenities to the employees. “The department security guards must come forward to unmask the illegal activities through extending co-operation. Public can directly inform the department staffs about the illegal activities in the border areas. Their identification will not be exposed,” he stated.

He also directed the border security guards to expose various illegal activities taking place in the border areas. So the guards must be extra conscious in the border area, he suggested the staff.
