Adventure camp thrills youth

Karnataka State Backward Community Welfare Board organised an adventure sports training camp at Chelavara falls to boost confidence and courage among the youth. The camp had 10 unemployed youth from Kodagu, Mandya and Mysore districts who were trained at Chelavara over the last 5 days by Mysore National Adventure Foundation. The camp had 5 members from Mysore, 3 from Mandya and 2 from Kodagu. Board spent about Rs 9,500 per participant and the trained participants indulged into some adventure sports, which could make every heart skip beats. Adventure Foundation Senior trainer Praveen trained the participants.  The camp will end on Friday and 10 more youth from Chikmagalur and Hasan will be trained next week.
