Police said Shashikant Patil (34) of Hulabagal was riding towards his farm when Siddappa Saravare, who had an old feud with the Patil family, chased him in an SUV and knocked him down.
Patil died on the spot. Saravare abandoned the vehicle and fled. Police confirmed that the murder was committed under the guise of an accident.
