The Akshara Dasoha staff staging a protest urged the government to fulfill their long pending demands, here recently.

Addressing the protesters, Akshara Dasoha Employees Association general secretary A Mahadeva said the employees have been working since several years and the State government had not made any effort to increase their salary.

The demands include regularising the services of the employees and minimum wage of Rs 200 per day.

The Akshara Dasoha employees should be paid during holidays, the agitators urged the authorities concerned.

“If our demands are not met by the government, then the association will hold a Vidhana Soudha chalo on October 20,” Mahadeva said.
