Mohammed Ameen has been unanimously elected as the new President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) at the 71th annual general body meeting held on Tuesday.
The AGM also elected Nigam B Vasani as Vice President and M. Ganesh Bhat as Treasurer of the chamber. Ram Mohan Pai Maroor and Jeevan Saldanha are the secretaries.
B Chandrakanth Rao, M Aziz Ahmed, Vishwanath Kadri, Nitte Yathiraj Shetty, P B Abdul Hameed, Suneel Pai, K Ramachandra Bhat, Prashanth C G, Christopher Noronha, C Vathika Kamath, Mahesh Padav Shenoy and Madhavaraya M Pai were elected as the directors of the KCCI.
