Miffed with the not-so-favourable coverage of the Mandya Lok Sabha polls, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday said he was boycotting the media.

“I have decided to boycott the media. Do whatever you want. You are free to do any review or debate. Enjoy it...I am boycotting the media,” he retorted when a media persons sought details of his meeting with AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal.

The sudden outburst is not the first time Kumaraswamy has been upset with the media. He has been blaming the media for being biased, especially in covering the election campaign in Mandya parliamentary constituency, where his son Nikhil was locked in a tough contest against Independent candidate Sumalatha.
