Another deer found dead in Mysore

Close on the heels of a deer which was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs near Chamundi Hill two days ago, another deer was found dead near a resort close to the hill on Sunday.

The deer was aged about six years.

Its hind legs are broken and the rear portion of the body has been eaten away.

Eyewitnesses said, the deer was attacked by stray dogs.

Locals said, the deers which died belong to a farm located near the resort.

ACF Durgegowda, who visited the spot, appealed to authorities to check the stray dog menace.
