The District and Session court on Friday has rejected the anticipatory bail application of Harihar legislator B P Harish who was charged with the murder of JD(S) leader Vijaykumar Kondajji.
Advocates Eknath D Raikar and K Hanumanthappa had applied for anticipatory bail on behalf of Harish and three other accused as they were to attend a relative’s wedding.
The District and Sessions judge A H Adappanavar who heard the matter said that as the proceedings will begin on May 11 and since the public prosecutor has not yet filed his objections, the bail has been rejected.
