The Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists’ Association has invited applications from young journalists in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru and Kasargod districts for Padyana Gopalakrishna Memorial award, popularly known as ‘Pa Go Award’, for the best rural, human interest and development report.
Criteria
According to a press release, the journalist should be below 45 years and the report should have been published between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. The last date to apply is January 31.
The applications can be sent to General Secretary, Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Association, Patrika Bhavan, Urwa Market, Mangaluru. The award carries a cash award of Rs 10,000 and a memento.
