The Indian Cartoonists’ Association has conferred its prestigious Life Time Achievement Award to Cartoonist Prabhakar Rao Byle for his contributions to the field.
The Association has selected seven cartoonists from across the country for the award and Byle is one among them.
Byle, who served with the Life Insurance Corporation of India in Mumbai, settled in the City after taking VRS in 1989. His cartoons appeared in well-known newspapers and periodicals, including ‘Prajavani’ and ‘Mayura’ across the country.
The award would be conferred on him at a national conference of cartoonists to be held in Bangalore on May 18.
