2.73 lakh kilogram of roses sent through KIA

A record 2.73 lakh kg of roses passed through the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) here this Valentine’s season to 41 international and domestic destinations.

A total of 1.7 lakh kg of roses were exported to international destinations, including Singapore, London, Dubai, Kuwait, Kuala Lumpur, Auckland, Beirut and Manila.

Domestic destinations, where 1.03 lakh kg of roses went, included Kolkata, Delhi, Bagdogra, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Chennai.
