The police arrested three persons for possesing weapons, near the Bangalore University campus under Jnanabharathi police limits recently.
The arrested have been identified as Mohan (23), Shivakumar (23) and Kiran (25). The police said that they had recovered assault weapons and a car, which were to be used to commit crimes.
After receiving information from sources about the suspicious movement of a trio, the police went to the spot and while questioning them, they confessed to targetting lonely persons to rob them, said the police.
