The KSRTC bus, headed towards Mysore was standing at the entrance of the bus terminal, when a container truck hit the bus, which in turn hit a car.  The car in turn rammed into an autorickshaw.

All the vehicles sustained major damage. The truck driver Pandian sustained injuries and has been admitted to Victoria hospital.
The accident resulted in a major traffic jam on Mysore road. A case has been registered by the Byatarayanapura police.
In a another accident, Ashok Kumar (25) of Madanayakanahalli was injured after he was hit by a truck on Tumkur Road near Parle factory on Friday morning. Ashok was on his way to work.

He is being treated at a private hospital in Dasarahalli. Even though passersby caught hold of the driver of the truck and beat him up, he still managed to escape.
Peenya traffic police have registered a case.

Chain snatching
A bike borne chain snatcher made away with a chain worth Rs 13,000 on Thursday evening. Deepika of Saraswathinagar in Vijayanagar area was returning to her house after paying her phone bill. She was walking on 7th cross, when a person on a bike came from behind and snatched her chain. Vijayanagar police have registered a case.
