Three members of a gang that committed six robberies in 90 minutes in northeastern Bengaluru on November 29 has been nabbed, police said.

Mohammad Iftekhar Ali (20), Syed Suhail (19) and Sheikh Asghar (21) were arrested on the basis of information provided by their associate, Mohammad Ashraf Khan, who was shot and caught at the end of the gang’s robbery spree. The police have seized five stolen mobile phones, a silver bracelet and two machetes used in the crime.

The gang rode motorcycles to commit the robberies in the Chikkajala and KIA police station limits in the early hours of November 29. The police had set up picket points to nab them. Khan reportedly attacked a policeman while trying to escape, but was shot by the police.
