Bengaluru: A 70-year-old Nepali security guard was beaten to death with a chapati pan by his friend during a drunken brawl at Sharada Farmhouse in Thalaghattapura on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as Jailal, had been working at Sharada Farms for the past year.
The police reported that on June 22, Jailal and the 28-year-old suspect, also a worker at the same farmhouse and a friend, were in an intoxicated state when a minor argument escalated into a fight. The suspect allegedly attacked Jailal with a chapati pan, inflicting severe head injuries. Jailal died on the spot.
