<p>Bengaluru: Two separate cases have been registered at the Bannerghatta police station following a solicitation and assault incident in SRY Layout on Sunday.</p><p>The case involves the alleged solicitation of a woman for sexual favours by a group of three to four men.</p><p>Officers investigating the incident said the solicitation is believed to have taken place under the influence of alcohol, which will be confirmed after receiving medical reports. When the woman resisted, John attempted to manhandle her. He arrived at the spot and assaulted the main suspect.</p><p>The police said both the gym trainer and John will be arrested soon. Cases under BNS section 74 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), section 126(2) (wrongful restraint), section 351(2) (punishment for criminal intimidation), and section 352 have been registered.</p><p>The police have initiated arrest procedures. The main suspect in the solicitation case is under police supervision while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru.</p><p>Efforts are underway to take the remaining men into custody. Further investigation into both incidents is ongoing.</p>
