The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday raided homes and offices of 12 government officials for assets disproportionate to their known sources of income. Simultaneous raids were conducted at various places across several districts, including Bengaluru. The searches are still on.

The officials raided are; N R M Nagarajan, Executive Engineer (Electrical) Bescom in Bengaluru; B S Prahlad, Executive Engineer TVCC BBMP in Bengaluru; R V Kantaraju, Deputy Director Town Planning BBMP in Bengaluru; Narasimhalu, tax evaluator CV Raman Nagar sub-division BBMP Bengaluru; B T Kumaraswamy, assistant commissioner Ballari sub-division; B S Balan, assistant executive engineer Karnataka Neeravari Nigama Bhadravati; J C Jagadeeshappa, assistant executive engineer, KPTCL Honnali in Davanagere; Venkatesh, assistant engineer PWD Sakaleshpura in Hassan; Ashok Goudappa Patil, executive officer taluk panchayat Naragund in Gadag; Somappa T Lamani, branch head Zilla Panchayat Vijayapura; Rekha, panchayat development officer Vajarahalli Nelamangala; Amaresh Benchamaradi, sanitary inspector Raichur.
