In the melee, an advocate sustained injuries when his foot came under the wheel of an OB van. As the advocate raised an alarm, his colleagues reached the spot, assaulted the journalists and smashed their cameras.
The journalists lodged a police complaint at the Ulsoor Gate police station against the advocates.
