Ground handling and catering for Air India has been outsourced, while cabin crew have reported for duty at BIA. So, there is no question of Air India flights being affected. However, another source said Air India had booked few seats on Jet and Kingfisher flights for its passengers to New Delhi and Mumbai, should any flash strike affect/hamper flight operations. “A few flight departures of Air India were delayed by half an hour with passengers being asked to wait,” said sources.
