Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust has written to Home Minister G Parameshwara seeking “fair and free” investigations into the “anti-India slogan shouting” at the event organised by Amnesty International India (AII) on August 13 .

The letter, copies of which have been marked to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the City Police Commissioner, says the case should be handed over to a central agency.

R K Mattoo, chairman of the trust, in the letter has criticised AII for focussing only on human rights violations by armed forces while ignoring brutalities against the Kashmiri Pandits.

The petition also demands that the organisation be banned.
