Freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose’s daughter Anita Bose Pfaff wants a DNA test to be conducted on her father’s mortal remains, kept in a Japanese temple, to ascertain the cause of his death.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function on Wednesday, Pfaff demanded the Centre to conduct the test, as the “reports of the three inquiry commissions on the death of Netaji have remained inconclusive.”
“The only option is to conduct a DNA test by extracting the DNA profile from the mortal remains of my father from the Japanese temple,” said Pfaff.
She, however, maintained that she did not want to keep alive the controversy related to Netaji's death.
