The department of social work at St Aloysius Degree College, Bengaluru, and the Centre for Post Graduate Studies, Sarvagnanagar (Cox Town), set up an anti-human trafficking club on the World Day of Social Justice last week.

The club is supported by like-minded organisations and aims to create a conscious, proactive and resilient student community in the fight against human trafficking.

During the launch, students of the college presented a mime show on various forms of human trafficking and its impact on humanity. They pledged to work together to ensure safer communities and create awareness within the campus and in society. The club will ensure collaboration between different stakeholders to build a vigilant and resistant community, the students said.
