A 47-year-old carpenter was found murdered in KR Layout, JP Nagar on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the deceased, Sesha Reddy, took a fatal blow to his head. He was a native of Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh and had moved to the City a month ago with his wife, Latha, and daughter.
They live near his brother Gurumurthy’s house near Puttenahalli. On Saturday night, after dinner, he went out for a walk and did not return. On Sunday morning, a passerby saw a body in a vacant site and informed the police.
The murderers had hit his head with a log, it is said. It might be the handiwork of someone known to the deceased, suspect the police.
