Bengaluru: The Army Service Corps (ASC) Tornadoes, a motorcycle display team formed in 1967, set three new world records on Tuesday in Bengaluru during an event marking the 264th Army Service Corps Day.

Subedar Pradeep SS set a world record for the longest backward motorcycle ride, covering a distance of 361.56 kilometres.

Havildar Manish broke the record for the longest basic hands-free wheelie, traveling 2.349 kilometres.

Sepoy Sumit Tomar set a new record for the longest no-hands wheelie, achieving a distance of 1,715.4 metres.

The event was held to commemorate the 264th Army Service Corps Day, celebrating the history and contributions of the Army Service Corps to the nation’s defence.
