Two miscreants had slipped into the Canara Bank ATM in Lakshmipuram, Indiranagar today to loot cash from it.
However, the alert public in the area caught hold of them and foiled their plan of robbery.
The public thrashed them, informed the Indiranagar police and handed them over to the police.
The miscreants have been identified as Rampal Gupta and Matthews.
A case has been registered at the Indiranagar police station.
