Briefing the media on Friday, Ramdev said that none of his claims about yoga curing several diseases were unscientific and that his cures had been recorded through a study. Speaking of his Bharat Swabhimaan movement, Ramdev said there were no political aspirations at present, but that he would reveal them when the time was correct.
Asked if the scandals like those of godman Nithyananda were hurting them, Ramdev said that every field had its share of corrupt people. When incidents like these happen, it hurts the sentiments of people, but the overall image does not get affected,” he said. His group Bharat Swabhimaan would fight corruption and for this purpose would enlist 5 lakh members in each district. The yoga camp is being held at Tripura Vasini at Palace Grounds.
