The Health Department seized 12 hookahs from Kappa Cafe at 5th Stage, JP Nagar, nine hookahs from Met Fuzz at KHB Colony, Koramangala, eight each from Adda Cafe at 4th Block Jayanagar and Mekaholic in 1st stage JP Nagar, seven from Coffee Bar at 9th Block Jayanagar, six each from Moka at 8th Block Koramangala and Quick Coffee at KH Road, Mission Cinema Compound, four from Black Mug at 3rd Block Jayanagar, three hookahs from Kuppa Coffee Day at 7th Main Road, 1st Block, HRBR Layout and two from Cafe Seesha near Jyothi Nivas College, Koramangala.
The department has issued notices to all the hotels and cafes that were illegally running the hookah bars.
