The High Court has ordered the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) to produce a missing file pertaining to the allotment of a civic amenity site in HSR Layout.
Pulling up BDA officials, Justice A N Venugopala Gowda observed that the agency had no accountability to the court.
The court is hearing a petition by N R Saraswathamma who was initially allotted a site which was later identified as a civic amenity site and the BDA cancelled the allotment and was to allot another site. But it failed to do so.
The bench directed the BDA to bring the files in which the allotment of site was cancelled, failing which the official concerned should be denied the salary and allowances. The court adjourned the next hearing until April 06.
