For the first time this year, the JEE (Main) tests for paper-2 (BArch/BPlan) was held twice in the online mode. “I didn’t expect these results,” an ecstatic Kumar said. “But I won’t seek admission to architecture courses, since I’m not interested. I’ve got a good score in the JEE Main paper-1, and I’ll get admission.”

Kumar said he studied two to three hours a day. “I’m not a bookworm. I studied for two hours a day. Since all the integrated courses were available at college, I didn’t need additional coaching.”

The first tests were held on January 8 in two shifts, while the second JEE (Main) tests for paper-2 were held on April 7. For those candidates who appeared for both the tests, the better of the two scores have been taken into account.

Of the 61,510 candidates who appeared in both the tests, 27,624 have improved their performance.

The candidates’ ranks have been determined considering the better of the two NTA scores of all the candidates who appeared in both the January and April tests, and in accordance with the policies available on the website: www.jeemain.nic.in.
