Bengaluru: Bengaluru East City Corporation has invited public suggestions for programmes and schemes to be included in the 2026-27 budget.
Corporation Commissioner DS Ramesh said preparations for the budget were underway.
"I appeal to the public to offer suggestions for preparing a comprehensive budget for the East City Corporation, with focus on infrastructure, public health and safety, environmental conservation, social welfare, transparent governance, and initiatives that respond to citizens’ needs," he stated.
Individual citizens, citizen groups, Residents’ Welfare Associations (RWAs), environmental activists and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are urged to send suggestions.
Suggestions can be dropped in the suggestion box at the office of the Deputy Controller (Finance), Bengaluru East City Corporation, Commercial Complex, Ground Floor, Opposite Phoenix Marketcity, RHB Colony, Mahadevapura.

All suggestions must be submitted by January 27.
