The programme, conducted with the Brigade's Shops and Establishments' Association (BSEA), aims at creating public awareness about high blood sugar level and its risks.
Ten teams from PeopleHealth will ask people, who are shopping and passers-by, to guess their blood sugar level and will immediately follow it up with a blood sugar level test.
If the levels match or are in the error margin of +3/- 3, the individual will be awarded a pre-loaded health cash card by PeopleHealth, which can be used to procure medical services across the PeopleHealth network, comprising 150 healthcare providers.
