Bengaluru: Toll charges for NICE Road, Bengaluru's semi-ring road, will increase from Tuesday midnight (July 1).
The user fees have been revised as per an agreement signed by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE) Limited and the government of Karnataka on September 4, 2000.
Two-wheelers and cars will have to pay Rs 3-5 more for a single journey based on the section and distance. Buses will pay Rs 10-25 more. The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), which operates a number of bus services through NICE Road connecting Banashankari, Tavarekere, Electronics City and other areas, is likely to pass on the additional cost to passengers.
