<p>Bengaluru: Starting July 1, <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/toll">toll </a>charges will go up on the 9.98-km Electronics City elevated expressway and the 14.38-km tolled road to Attibele.</p><p>This will be the first hike in three years, according to Bangalore Elevated Tollway Pvt Ltd.</p>. <p>BETPL is the special purpose vehicle that maintains the 24.365-km section of National Highway NH-44 from the Central Board Junction to Attibele. Mumbai-based Global Infrastructure Partners is the concessionaire.</p><p>Under the concessionaire agreement, BETPL can revise the user fee every year based on the Wholesale Price Index (<a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/wpi">WPI</a>). The latest hike is based on WPI as on March 31, 2025, and will remain in force until June 30, 2026, according to a public notice issued by BETPL.</p><p>The elevated expressway is Bengaluru's longest, continuous flyover. It connects Silk Board Junction to Electronics City in the south of the city. There is no change in single-journey toll.</p><p>Car/Jeep/van drivers have to pay Rs 65, Rs 95 and Rs 1,885, up from Rs 60, Rs 90 and Rs 1,795, respectively.</p><p>Light commercial vehicles will be charged Rs 90, Rs 130 and Rs 2,640, up from Rs 85, Rs 125 and Rs 2,515, respectively.</p><p>Truck/bus drivers will pay Rs 175, Rs 265 and Rs 5,275, up from Rs 170, Rs 250 and Rs 5,030 respectively.</p><p>Multi-axle vehicles will be charged Rs 330, Rs 530 and Rs 10,550, up from Rs 295, Rs 440 and Rs 8,780, respectively.</p><p>At the Attibele toll plaza, cars/Jeeps/vans will pay Rs 40, Rs 55 and Rs 130. Light commercial vehicles will pay Rs 65, Rs 95 and Rs 1,885, respectively.</p><p>Trucks/buses will be charged Rs 125, Rs 190 and Rs 3,770, respectively.
