On February 4, at around 12.31 pm, a member of the public alerted Namma 112 after spotting an unidentified elderly woman, about 60 years old, appearing disoriented and suffering from memory loss near Bannappa Park Road in the Cubbonpete area of Nagarathpete. Immediately, Namma 112 dispatched Hoysala-27 personnel, including ASI Ramesh and a police constable, who reached the location and shifted her to the Halasuru Gate Police Station for further care and assistance.

Subsequent inquiries revealed that a missing person complaint for the woman had been registered a day earlier at the Cottonpet Police Station. The police were able to confirm her identity and reunite her safely with her family.

A five-year-old child was also rescued in a similar operation on Wednesday. The father of the child informed Namma 112 about the incident, reporting that the child had gone missing from the BDA Complex under the jurisdiction of the RT Nagar Police Station.

Acting immediately, the Namma 112 staff dispatched Hoysala-125 personnel — ASI Ravinandana Gowda and APC Chinnappa — who reached the spot within five minutes.

With the support of the public, the police team went to a nearby mosque and made an announcement through the public address system. Shortly thereafter, the child was traced and safely reunited with his father.
