An employee of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) was electrocuted at Jalahalli Circle on Sunday. According to police, Vasanth Kumar, 30, had climbed an electricity pole to rectify some fault.
He had not switched off a parallel power line with which he came in contact and was electrocuted instantly. Vasanth, a resident of Peenya, is survived by his wife and two children. Peenya police have registered a case.
