Bengaluru: The Opposition BJP on Thursday rejected the one-man commission report submitted by Justice John Michael Cunha regarding the tragic stampede during RCB’s IPL victory celebrations at Chinnaswamy stadium.
The party alleged that the government was trying to dodge accountability by using the report to shift blame away from itself.
Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka said, “The state government should hand over this case to a judicial inquiry led by a sitting judge and deliver justice to those who lost their lives.”
