A 28-year-old man said to be a BJP worker died after being stabbed by a group of four in Chinnappa Garden, JC Nagar, North Bengaluru, on Wednesday night. Police said the murder was the fallout of a drunken brawl.
The group picked a fight with Santhosh, of Vasanthnagar, while the latter was said to be putting up a banner for the Parivarthana Rally around 9 pm. They stabbed him in the thigh and he died at a hospital later. Police said they had arrested two suspects and identified them as Waseem and Philips.
The JC Nagar police are investigating the case.
