A speeding BMTC bus mowed down a pedestrian and injured another near Hebbal flyover on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Guddu, 22, a resident of Kaggadasapura.
He hailed from Uttar Pradesh and had come to City a few years ago in search of job.The injured Vikram is battling for life at a private hospital.
According to police, the accident took place at 7.45 pm when Guddu and Vikram were crossing the road near Hebbal flyover down ramp.
The driver of the BMTC bus lost control and struck them, killing Guddu on the spot. The driver of the bus fled the spot and a manhunt has been launched to trace him.
