He was speaking after releasing the book ‘101 Things You Wanted to Know About the Police But Were Too Afraid to Ask,’ authored by Justice M N Venkatachalaiah. Karnataka State Police and Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative had organised the event.
Venkatachalaiah said a district where an able deputy commissioner and an honest superintendent of police served would never require any Constitution. Karnataka police were known for their work at national level. They should strive to protect the image, he advised.
