The indefinite protest launched against Bosch Ltd India, by its employees on termination of their service, will complete a year on August 14.

The company had sacked 263 technicians in 2015. The employees have been protesting against the company’s decision. They are also demanding that the company reinstate them, by regularising their service.

A protesting employee, Prakash, alleged that the company had decided to remove them because they had completed around 10 years of service and were eligible to become regular employees. Former Labour minister P T Parameshwar Naik and present Labour Minister Santosh Lad had directed the management to resolve the issue but in vain.
