In a complaint lodged with the police, Muralidhar, a resident of BHCS Layout stated he was out to Malasandar to attend a pooja, when some miscreants forcibly entered the house through the main door and decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 7.15 lakh.
Muralidhar said Rs 1.45 lakh cash and 350 gm of gold jewellery were missing from the house.

In a similar incident, Girish of BTS Layout has complained that valuables worth lakhs of rupees were missing from his house.
Police have pressed into to action sniffer dogs and finger print experts. They, however, suspect the involvement of known persons in the crime.
